Geldi 2011-2017 Goitibehera jaitsierak Euskal Herriko goitibeheren fenomenoari buruz argitaratu den lehen liburu monografikoa da. Gailu artistiko gisa diseinatu eta konfiguratua, etnografia eta argazkigintza dokumentalak eskaintzen dituen tresnez baliatzen da. Argitalpen honek, modernitatearen esperientzi estetikoaren parte esanguratsua diren, lan industriala eta errepideetatik eratorritako mugikortasunaren inguruko hausnarketa egiteko espazio bat zabaltzen du. Geldi 2011-2017 Goitibehera jaitsierak hiru gorputzetan zabaltzen den zenbakitutako eta sinatutako serie limitatuko argitalpena da, euskaraz eta gazteleraz idatzia eta ingelesera oso-osorik itzulia. Argitalpenak ehunka argazki biltzen ditu, bi inbentario osagarri, eta argitarapenerako idatzitako edo eta itzulitako testu kritiko sorta.

Goitibeherak bide asfaltatuetan behera jaisteko erabiltzen diren motorrik gabeko ibilgailu auto-eraikiak dira. Haien eraikuntza eta erabilpena Euskal Herrian erroturik dagoen kultur jarduera bizia da. Bertako modernitatearen ezaugarri izan diren bi fenomeno garrantzitsuren arteko bidegurutzean agertzen dira: bailaren industrializazioa batetik eta errepideen asfaltatzea bestetik. Goitibeherak industri makineria astuna eta automobilgintza piezak berrantolatuz sortzen dira, lantegian ikasitako ezagutzak asmamenaren zerbitzura jartzen dituztelarik. Mundu materiala birziklatu, zatitu, eraldatu eta berrantolatzeko gaitasuna dutenez, egungo mundua irudikatzeko ahalmena dute eta lanaren esfera tradizionaletik harago, bizitzaren alderdi sortzaile eta kolektiboa azpimarratzen dute.
Goitibehera (from top to bottom) is the basque expressión used to name do it yourself inertia vehicles used to make descents on paved roads. Their construction and use is a widespread cultural phenomenon in the Basque Country for more than a century. These go-karts are traditionally built from the remains of heavy industrial machinery and leftovers from the automotive industry by means the ingenuity, knowledge and spare time of the industrial worker. These exercises on recycling, fragmentation, resignification and recontextualisation of the material elements that surround us, signal certain qualities of the constructive formal grammar of modernity. The goitibeheras allow us to approach the industrial culture from a perspective that surpasses the traditional sphere of work and invades the creative, popular and collective dimension of life.

GELDI 2011-2017 is the first monographic book on the phenomenon of goitibeheras in Euskal Herria. The publication, designed and configured as an artistic device, uses some tools of ethnography and documentary photography to reflect upon three of the most relevant aesthetic experiences of modernity: industrial work, road traffic and photography. The resulting work takes the form of a three-part, numbered limited- edition file, published in Basque / Spanish and fully translated into English. The publication gathers more than one hundred photographs, two complete inventories, as well as a series of critical texts produced and / or translated for publication.
